Our take on Lunarium
The focus on a knight-and-mage partnership narrows the combat structure to two defined roles. That gives Ave and Lune distinct purposes, but leaves less room for experimenting with a larger party or radically different character archetypes.
What is Lunarium?
Lunarium is an atmospheric fantasy action RPG starring Ave, a lightly armored knight, and Lune, a girl with mysterious magic.
Ave fights at close range with swords, dodges, and parries, while Lune weakens enemies, strengthens Ave’s attacks, and clears environmental barriers. Together, they travel across multiple worlds to rescue a dying homeland, investigate temples, ruined kingdoms, and mist-covered churches, and uncover hidden history. Combat and exploration are connected: players observe each area, learn its mechanics, and advance through different terrain and encounter patterns. Ave’s fighting style can be adjusted through a skill tree, cloaks that combine appearance with ability effects, and embroidery items that grant passive enhancements.
How Lunarium plays
- 01Two-Character Combat
- Ave handles close-range attacks while Lune provides magical support, weakens enemies, strengthens attacks, and removes environmental barriers.
- 02Combat Customization
- A skill tree, cloaks, and embroidery items let players adjust Ave’s abilities and passive bonuses.
- 03Multi-World Journey
- The pair travel through several worlds while pursuing lost starlight and forgotten memories.
- 04Environmental Exploration
- Temples, ruined kingdoms, and darkened churches present different terrain, atmospheres, and combat patterns.
