Our take on Blessing Part I
The presentation gives substantial space to the setting and combat, while the available release is only Part I. Parts II and III are described as future free updates, so the current story scope is narrower than the planned arc.
What is Blessing Part I?
Play as Lowe, a swordsman seeking revenge after his younger sister Flowr was executed by the Blood Church as “Calamity-Tainted.
” The Black Calamity has brought famine, plague, and monsters across the land. Combat centers on a greatsword and linked techniques including Sword Dance, Heavy Slash, and Counter Sight. Parrying incoming attacks creates openings for strikes, while enemies can kill Lowe after a single mistake. The vendor plans to add Parts II and III as free updates after they are completed.

Blessing Part I focuses on greatsword combat, parries, and a revenge story, while Ghost of a Tale emphasizes exploration, stealth, disguises, and conversations in a world inhabited by animals. Vagante also uses a dark fantasy setting with monsters, demons, and crooks, but its description centers on adventuring for fame, riches, and power rather than Lowe's multipart narrative.
