Our take on Leviathan Starblade
The bounce point arrives when the Starblade is needed for defense or for enemies that resist guns: activating it stops shooting, so players must accept a direct trade-off between clearing threats and blocking danger.
What is Leviathan Starblade?
Leviathan Starblade is a vertical shoot-'em-up where players pilot one of three fighters against alien forces.
Each ship combines forward-firing guns with a directional turret that can launch or swing a Starblade. The blade can destroy most enemy projectiles, but using it prevents gunfire, creating a choice between defense and attacking enemies. Players select five blade types and equip two of nine guns, switching between the guns during missions. The game includes 18 missions with bosses, three ship designs, 76 color and pattern options, 18 music tracks, and controller support. Some enemies require the Starblade, while collisions with bosses and energy ships cause damage. There are no extra lives or item drops, with slight healing between missions.
