Our take on B3
The game replaces the usual forward movement of a shooter with a fixed defensive perimeter. Teleporting between wall positions becomes the main movement pattern, while the wall and interior control point define a clear breach-based defeat condition.
What is B3?
B3 is a first-person VR shooter about defending a desert base against monsters that arrive in unpredictable groups.
Mountains shield the rear and flanks, while a forward wall provides firing positions. Players relocate between these positions by aiming at the flag over a selected spot, which triggers immediate teleportation. Creatures assault the wall before entering the base once it falls. The session ends as soon as any monster gets to the base’s interior control point. Different creature types call for different approaches, so choosing targets and changing positions are central to the defense. The game focuses on holding one fortified location rather than moving through multiple areas.
How B3 plays
- 01Teleport Firing Positions
- A flag above each position marks the destination for instant movement between points along the wall.
- 02Random Monster Waves
- Attackers emerge from the desert in waves whose timing and composition are not fixed.
- 03Wall Breach Condition
- The base remains defensible until monsters destroy the front wall and enter the interior.
- 04Different Enemy Tactics
- Multiple monster types call for different methods of defeating them.
