ActionIs Bloodstream worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- VR action players who want gesture-driven combat
- Players who enjoy fast reactions and simultaneous blocking and attacking
- Magic-themed combat fans who want elemental powers and flame katanas
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a slow, methodical action game may find the simultaneous attacks, blocks, and timing demands too frantic.
- Players looking for a conventional, menu-driven combat system may not want gesture-based attacks and movement-controlled elements.
- Players seeking a story-led adventure or broad exploration may find the combat-focused scope too narrow.
Our take on Bloodstream
Rather than separating defense and offense into standard attack phases, the combat asks players to block, throw, build Chi, and trigger special moves at the same time. Smooth gesture control becomes the central skill, replacing conventional button-based attack chains with physical timing and motion.
What is Bloodstream?
Bloodstream is a VR action game built around flowing hand movements.
A single energy stream can block incoming shots, strike enemies, and be thrown at targets; smooth motions build Chi, while jerky movements reduce it. Chi fuels power attacks, during which time slows so attacks can be blocked at the right moment. Players can smash stone fists from the ground, call down meteors, create energy quakes, and spin fire tornadoes. Controller placement selects elements, such as drawing Air from above the head. Twin flame katanas can be pulled from behind the neck. The game supports LIV mixed-reality recording, and its combat combines blocking, attacking, movement control, and timing in chaotic encounters.
How Bloodstream plays

- 03Elemental Powers
- Controller positions determine the element used for abilities such as Air, meteors, and fire tornadoes.
- 04Mixed-Reality Recording
