What is FILMECHANISM?
FILMECHANISM is a 2D puzzle action game about guiding the camera humanoid REC to goal points.
Each stage contains objects and environmental mechanisms that can affect movement. REC can record the current state of a stage, then restore that state later to create routes through hazards and obstacles. Players may preserve falling platforms or movable blocks before triggering an action, then bring those elements back when needed. The game includes more than 200 puzzles and mechanisms such as pushable blocks, falling spiked blocks, floors that collapse underfoot, single-use spring floors, and number doors controlled by block placement. Its presentation uses 8-bit-style graphics and sound.
