Our take on Life Goes On: Done to Death
The bounce point arrives when sacrificing knights stops feeling like a consequence and becomes the required input for nearly every puzzle. Players who want death to signal failure may hit that wall at the first sequence requiring bodies to form paths, press switches, or provide elevation.
What is Life Goes On: Done to Death?
Life Goes On: Done to Death is a puzzle platformer built around knight sacrifice.
Players send successive knights into spikes, sawblades, electricity, cannons, and other hazards, then use the resulting bodies to trigger buttons, create paths, reach elevated areas, open doors, or solve other mechanisms. Some knights can be frozen into ice blocks or transformed into zombies. The campaign follows a king’s army searching for the Cup of Life across 65+ levels in four colorful worlds containing lava, ice, portals, zombies, and traps.
Extra challenge stages add tougher objectives. Optional progression includes hats and weapons, while awards track low knight usage and fast completion times. A map-based story, an armoury, a boss encounter, and a hidden character named Jeff are also included.
