Play it if you…

Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a conventional sword-fighting control scheme may find the hero-following weapon design awkward.
- Players wanting a long, open-ended adventure may find the fixed set of 16 levels and focused quest structure limiting.
- Players uninterested in cosmetic collecting, leaderboards, or timed events may have fewer optional activities to pursue.
Our take on Slash Quest
The sword-led control system gives the game its distinct identity, but it also sacrifices conventional direct movement. Combat, puzzles, and navigation all depend on managing the weapon’s position and growth rather than simply directing the knight.
What is Slash Quest?
Slash Quest follows Shepherd, an inexperienced knight carrying Swordie, a talking royal sword, across 16 levels to return it to the Queen.
The sword controls the hero, creating unconventional movement and combat. Swordie grows after defeating enemies, affecting battles and puzzle sections. The adventure includes creature fights, boss encounters, rescued characters, side quests, mini-games, and 12 upgradable skills and power-ups. More than 50 cosmetic items customize Shepherd and Swordie. Integrated leaderboards, seasonal events with time-limited challenges and rewards, and multiple environments add activities beyond the main journey. The game also includes an original soundtrack and localization in 14 languages.
