Is Lairchitect worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Strategy players who want to defend a dungeon rather than raid one
- Fans of short games who enjoy arranging defenses and selecting units
- Players seeking a small campaign with an additional endless mode
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a long-form campaign may find the approximately one-hour playtime too limited
- Players wanting direct hero combat may find the defensive lair-building structure restrictive
- Players looking for large-scale strategy may find the small campaign too narrow
Our take on Lairchitect
The reverse-dungeon structure focuses play on a compact defensive setup, so it gives up the broader exploration and extended progression associated with longer dungeon-crawling campaigns. Its approximately one-hour playtime reinforces that trade-off, while endless mode provides the main route beyond the short campaign.
