Our take on Grunn
The peaceful gardening premise occupies much of the presentation, but the central structure also depends on missing tools, an absent owner, forbidden nighttime travel, and the possibility of death. This is an unsettling mystery with gardening tasks, not simply a rural maintenance simulator.
What is Grunn?
Work as a gardener in the Dutch countryside over one weekend, with tasks including cutting grass, watering flowers, and collecting rubbish.
Most of the required tools are missing, the garden owner is absent, and the house cannot be entered. A nearby village offers places to explore and people who may know where the equipment went. After dark, leaving the area is forbidden, while an unexplained presence follows the gardener’s movements. The game sets a deadline of Monday and combines garden maintenance with exploration and danger. Several possible endings shape how the weekend concludes, including outcomes in which the gardener does not survive.
