Our take on BrokenLore: DON'T WATCH
The bounce point arrives when the game turns Shinji’s personal isolation into a direct encounter with Hyakume. Players seeking a wider survival sandbox or frequent combat may lose interest once the apartment, computer, and unraveling mind become the central systems.
What is BrokenLore: DON'T WATCH?
DON’T WATCH is a first-person psychological horror game set in the BrokenLore series.
It follows Shinji, a young hikikomori living inside a small Tokyo apartment. Isolated from the outside world, he faces unpaid rent, rising bills, and a family that does not understand him. Video games serve as his only escape, but they cannot relieve his anxiety. The game takes players into Shinji’s deteriorating mind as they search for the truth behind his situation. A malevolent entity named Hyakume, described as having a hundred eyes, observes him and waits to attack. Shinji’s computer provides his only connection to the outside world, although it offers no guaranteed safety.
