Our take on Play With Me: Escape Room
Its broad mix of puzzles, moral decisions, side activities, and random events trades a tightly focused escape-room structure for a more varied but less uniform progression.
What is Play With Me: Escape Room?
Play as investigative journalist Robert Hawk, who becomes trapped in a maze created by the serial killer known as Illusion after a car crash.
Progress depends on optical puzzles, misleading visual effects, secondary quests, and choices that can lead to different endings. Some challenges require moving closer to or away from the screen, using a microphone, making hand gestures, shaking or opening objects, or using a mirror, camera, and other nearby items. The game includes a mental-state system, additional activities through a virtual phone, random elements, several modes including survival, and a soundtrack with voice acting. Its story is loosely inspired by the film Saw.
