Our take on Ballspell
The listing highlights seven levels, bosses, skills, and enemy variety, while the colour requirement creates a significant access constraint. That warning concerns the central play pattern, not a minor visual option.
What is Ballspell?
Ballspell is a Zuma-style game with enemies that can use shields to redirect shots, move around, or change colour.
It includes seven themed levels with different mechanics and enemies. Levels can be played in different orders, except for the first and final levels. Each level has a boss fight, and defeating a boss awards a permanent skill that powers up magic shots. Examples include clearing large enemies, ignoring colour requirements, and shooting at blocked-off enemies. The game includes six skills, more than 40 enemy types, and an endless mode in each level. It also features a unique soundtrack by Tom. A warning says the game is not suited for players with colour blindness.
