The modular skill system trades fixed, ready-made abilities for experimentation with connected components. That choice gives build creation a central role, but it also places more of the combat setup on players before and during runs.
What is Magic Construct?
Magic Construct is an action-survival game built around editable skills.
Players connect modules to change projectile properties, with additional nodes increasing their strength and some modules allowing further attribute adjustments. Combat pits players against varied creatures using attacks that include status effects. Maps offer selectable difficulty tags, with each tag adding a specific mechanic. Solo play and cooperative sessions for 2-4 players are available. Endless Mode creates runs with unexpected surprises and discoveries. Achievements grant items, characters, attributes, and other rewards. The game supports 12 languages, with non-Chinese versions using AI translation followed by manual proofreading. Updates are released approximately every two weeks, according to the in-game Update Log.
