Our take on Impire
Its defining structure is the combination of dungeon construction and hero invasions, with defeated heroes converted into souls that fund further development.
What is Impire?
Impire casts players as Báal-Abaddon, a demon rebuilding his power after being trapped in a smaller earthly form.
The main campaign centers on expanding an underground dungeon by excavating spaces, adding rooms, and setting traps for invading heroes. Creatures can be recruited, developed, and equipped, while defeated heroes provide souls that serve as dungeon resources. Báal-Abaddon can also gain weapon and armor improvements and evolve toward becoming a dungeon lord. Surface raids send forces to different Ardania locations to gather treasure. Magical item cards can be combined into a customized deck. The campaign supports solo and cooperative play, alongside multiplayer modes for competing with other players.
How Impire plays

Impire compared to similar games
Men of War: Assault Squad focuses on large-scale World War II strategy and direct control of battlefield units, while Impire centers on building an underground dungeon, managing creatures, and repelling heroes. Xenonauts follows a Cold War alien-defense structure with persistent soldiers, turn-based squad operations, and technology recovery; Impire instead combines dungeon development, surface raids, and fantasy multiplayer modes.
