The campus offers four clubs and several side activities, but that breadth makes the experience less focused than a single-track mystery. Players move between school routines, club pursuits and the threat to the world rather than concentrating on one activity.
What is Kraken Academy!!?
Explore Kraken Academy, a high school where ghosts, cultists and crocodiles are part of campus life.
A magical kraken asks the player to stop a traitor who threatens the school and the world. A magical amulet lets the player manipulate time to observe teachers’ and students’ routines and explore the campus. Activities include attending a costume party, investigating a crime syndicate and joining the Music, Art, Sports and Drama clubs. Each club has its own activities, such as completing a rock band, presenting work at an exhibition, competing in challenges or taking part in a play. The amulet allows participation in all four clubs. The game combines campus exploration and character encounters with a story about identifying the traitor.
