What is Afterlove EP?
Afterlove EP tells the story of Rama, a young Jakarta musician who has been unable to move forward after his girlfriend Cinta died.
He still hears her speaking in his mind, but cannot tell whether this is supernatural or imagined. With a major band performance a month away, Rama needs to face the music, personal connections, and mental health he has been neglecting. The story unfolds over twenty-eight days and nights, with choices affecting his relationships and future. Play through a mix of visual-novel scenes, side-scrolling exploration of the city, character conversations, and rhythm-game performances with Rama’s band. The game presents contemporary urban Indonesia through manga-influenced illustrations by Indonesian artist Soyatu and music composed by the Indonesian independent band L’Alphalpha.
