Our take on Scrabdackle
The store page presents a huge world and a multi-act journey, but the currently available purchase centers on Act 1. Its stated main-path duration is about 12–15 hours, while Acts 2 and 3 are planned as later free updates rather than content available at launch.
What is Scrabdackle?
Scrabdackle is a hand-drawn adventure about Blue, a novice wizard expelled from an academy and traveling through an unfamiliar world.
Exploration is open-ended: regions, bosses, and spells can usually be approached in different orders, while some routes require newly learned spells. Open areas connect with dungeons containing linear puzzles and challenges. The game includes local characters with storylines, world mysteries, hidden secrets, an academy notebook, and optional challenges. Act 1 contains 6 spells, 9 bosses, 11 regions, 60 stickers and stars, 90 minutes of music, 130 notebook entries, and about 80,000 words. A first playthrough focused on the main content takes about 12–15 hours on Poet difficulty.
