Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a slow-paced combat system may hit a wall with its fast hack-and-slash fights.
- Players who want a consistently accompanied party may find higher difficulty a poor fit, since those fights are faced alone.
- Players looking for an open-ended exploration game may find the chapter-based story structure limiting.
Our take on Initial 2 : New Stage
The likely bounce point is the difficulty choice: players who rely on companions may hit a wall when selecting higher difficulty, where the game sends them into combat alone. Those who prefer a slower pace may also find the fast hack-and-slash combat hard to settle into.
