Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a tightly guided campaign may hit a wall when the game opens its routes from the beginning.
- Players wanting combat alone may lose interest during fishing, foraging, dialogue, and trust-building sequences.
- Players who avoid stories involving swearing, drugs and alcohol, suffering, abuse, or cartoon violence may find the content warnings limiting.
Our take on Kandria
Players who need a clear next objective may bounce off at the opening of the open world, where routes are available immediately. Those focused only on combat may hit another wall when optional fishing, foraging, dialogue, and faction-trust systems occupy the same structure.
What is Kandria?
Explore a devastated world of underground caverns and settlements, selecting tasks, conversations, and paths from the outset.
Sword-based action features patrol, repair, and scavenging assignments. Away from missions, fishing and mushroom gathering offer additional activities, while certain merchants participate in the fishing trade. An outsider becomes involved in a struggle between two factions, with trust forming a central part of the story. The setting covers over 2,100x1,200m, including 250 individually crafted rooms, 50 quests, more than 2 hours of original music, and 33 outfits. Hidden secrets and remnants of old-world history are scattered throughout. A built-in editor supports creating and sharing custom levels with the community.
