Our take on IHAS
The defining structure is a first-person escape journey through a giant spaceship, combining robot firefights with puzzles, boss encounters, cybernetic upgrades, and weapon modification.
What is IHAS?
IHAS is a sci-fi action-puzzle FPS set aboard a giant spaceship.
After waking with no memory, the player follows a voice claiming to be a friend while searching the vessel for an escape. Hostile robots occupy shifting corridors and energy gateways, with puzzles and boss encounters adding structure to the combat. Exploration reveals upgrade chips for the player’s mechanical body. Weapons can be modified with options such as a laser beam or shotgun to suit different combat approaches. After completing the main game, the beta level editor supports creating and sharing custom stages through Steam Workshop, allowing community-made content to be played alongside the main campaign.
How IHAS plays
- 01Mechanical upgrades
- Upgrade chips found during exploration can expand the capabilities of the player’s cybernetic body.
- 02Weapon modifications
- Weapon attachments include a laser beam and shotgun, allowing different combat configurations.
- 03Community level editor
- The beta editor lets players create, share, and play custom stages through Steam Workshop.
- 04Spaceship exploration
- Progress takes place across corridors, energy gateways, and changing routes inside the vessel.
IHAS compared to similar games
Jusant focuses on climbing a tower at the player’s pace, with stamina management and route exploration, while IHAS centers on first-person shooting, puzzles, and boss fights aboard a spaceship. Sundered®: Eldritch Edition is a chaotic metroidvania, whereas IHAS uses a spaceship exploration structure with weapon mods, body upgrades, and a beta level editor.
