What is Ichima-san?
Ichima-san is a stealth action-adventure about a person transformed into an Ichimatsu doll.
The objective is to search a traditional Japanese house for a way to regain a human body while avoiding detection by its living residents. Players follow clues to locate items that expand their abilities, create supernatural disturbances to distract or stun humans, and pretend to be an ordinary doll when discovery seems likely. Being caught ends the game. Tsukumogami—objects inhabited by spirits—may provide assistance or hints. The game also includes optional activities such as fishing, dancing, racing, and riding a robot vacuum cleaner. A Hiragana-only mode supports children and players learning Japanese.
