Our take on Wetwork
The defining choice is that missions can be completed without taking weapons, with that approach tied to the highest rating. The same missions also allow a range of armed methods, so the player can decide whether to bring an arsenal or rely on other approaches.
What is Wetwork?
Wetwork is a stealth action game set in Latvia in the 2030s.
Players take the role of an assassin and approach targets with the aim of avoiding detection. Missions allow different approaches, including close-quarters combat, firearms, explosives, or going in without weapons. Taking an enemy’s clothing allows the player to pose as them and enter restricted areas. The available arsenal includes handguns, SMGs, rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles, a minigun, syringes, knives, and explosives. The training level takes place around a park in an urban area and introduces weapons and mechanics. The first main mission is set near the Baltic Sea and centers on entering a politician’s mansion.
How Wetwork plays
- 01Clothing disguises
- Taking an enemy’s outfit can provide a way into restricted locations.
- 02Weapon-free missions
- Both missions can be completed without bringing weapons, and that approach earns the highest rating.
- 03Multiple approaches
- Missions permit different methods, from close combat and firearms to explosives or avoiding carried weapons.
