Our take on Little Ninja
The nostalgic childhood framing receives substantial emphasis, while the launch campaign is limited to three levels. Planned post-launch content is mentioned, but it is not part of the initial playable scope.
What is Little Ninja?
Play as Liam, an eight-year-old boy imagining himself as a ninja inside his suburban home.
The top-down 2D game uses pixel-art visuals and simple movement with WASD controls plus a dash. Players hide behind objects, move out of sight quickly, interact with mission items, free stuffed animals, complete small challenges, and gather objects needed to progress. Parents and other enemies act as threats while Liam explores the house. The initial campaign contains three playable levels. The game also includes childhood-themed references and pretend-play elements involving stuffed animals and hiding around the home. Additional content is planned for release after launch.
