ActionIs Hover worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Parkour fans who want an open-world action game with vertical traversal
- Players who prefer switching between solo exploration and online cooperation or competition
- Creative players who want to build missions or mini-games inside the game
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a tightly linear adventure may find the open-world structure too dispersed
- Those wanting a focused single gameplay mode may not enjoy the mixture of races, tricks, stealth missions, sport matches, and community activities
- Players who do not want online interaction may have little use for the cooperative, competitive, and player-created content
Our take on Hover
The focus on movement variety and an open city comes with a broad, activity-filled structure rather than a tightly directed campaign. Character development, online modes, and player-created challenges add options, but also divide attention across several systems.
What is Hover?
Hover is a parkour game set in ECP17, a futuristic city ruled by an anti-leisure dictatorship.
Players lead a team of young rebels who traverse rooftops, streets, and underground areas while sabotaging propaganda, assisting citizens, and seeking a route to the Orbital Station. Movement includes sprinting, sliding, wall jumps, bouncing, grinds, and trick combinations. The game supports solo play and online cooperation or competition, with races, events, scoring battles, stealth missions, and sport matches. Ten characters can be unlocked, developed with experience and chips, and customized by color. Players can switch between offline and online play during the adventure, select first- or third-person views, and create missions or mini-games with an in-game editor.
