Our take on Hot Dish
Players who struggle with gesture- and timing-based gameplay will likely hit the first wall while executing recipe steps and combining ingredients at the right moments. Those seeking broader progression may bounce off the fixed 45-level structure across three restaurant locations.
What is Hot Dish?
Hot Dish is a cooking game that combines gestures with timed actions.
Players begin as a line cook in a neighborhood Italian eatery, with the goal of becoming a five-star French chef. To finish a dish, they complete its steps and add ingredients at the right points. The game offers 45 levels across three venues: a family-owned Italian place, a refined Asian fusion spot, and a French restaurant rated five stars. Its menu contains 80 appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
Finished dishes earn stars that unlock more challenging recipes, kitchen boosts, and mini-games. The boosts include Spatula Time, Secret Spices, and the Master Cooker. Three master chefs appear, along with a Cleanup Match 3 mini-game where players clear boards while dealing with the Health Inspector.
