Our take on Horror Loop
Players who rely on visible interface cues will hit the main wall immediately: the game removes the HUD and menu-based interactions. Those who need clear prompts for objects or actions may struggle before reaching the pursuit sequences in the hospital and cave.
What is Horror Loop?
Horror Loop is a first-person horror game following the story of a soldier across three sections.
In the Home chapter, players attempt to escape a repeating house while dealing with various obstacles. The Hospital chapter centers on fleeing from a pursuing butcher. In the Cave chapter, notes found in the environment reveal information about what is happening, while creatures chase the player. The game uses environmental interaction without an on-screen HUD or interaction menus. Objects, lighting, textures, shadows, environments, and sound are presented with a focus on realism. The story is experienced through the character’s viewpoint, with enemies pursuing the player throughout the game. Horror Loop supports 31 languages.
