Our take on Ninnin
The defining structure is a sequence of twelve one-on-one boss fights, divided into three sections of four, with progression tied to clearing each group.
What is Ninnin?
Ninnin is a single-player PvE action game set in Fifty City, where ninjas and ordinary residents live together amid attacks by Hunter gangs.
The game contains three sections, each with four bosses. Progression comes from defeating every boss in a section before entering the next one. Battles are one-on-one, with each boss using different abilities and movement patterns. Ninnin attacks with kunai and bombs, and can perform double jumps and downward jumps. Each section adds one available weapon and changes the scenery and boss designs. The game uses straightforward combat, fixed weapon controls, and a short playtime. Its story follows Ninnin, a ninja police member who enters a Hunter hideout to protect the city.
How Ninnin plays

- 03Ninja Movement
- Double jumps and downward jumps supplement movement during encounters.
- 04Expanding Arsenal
- One additional weapon becomes available whenever a section is completed.
- 05Changing Battle Settings
- Section transitions alter both the background scenery and the boss designs.
