Our take on HoloBall
Rather than using a conventional court or field, the game places paddle-and-ball competition in a retro-future arena. Its structure combines escalating AI opponents, skillshots, multiplayer modes, and a rogue-AI setting.
What is HoloBall?
HoloBall is an arcade action-sports game set in a retro-futuristic society controlled by rogue artificial intelligence.
Players wield paddles to strike, crush, and bend the ball around opponents while pursuing points. Skillshots offer techniques to practice as computer-controlled rivals grow tougher. Matches can be played against AI, with local multiplayer allowing a second person to take the opponent’s place, or online against participants worldwide. Spectator Mode provides content creators with added control over captured and shared footage. Leaderboards rank players, while achievements add extra goals. Physics-driven play is paired with synthwave music. The game features a setting based on Blood Dragon’s cover artwork and can be installed in arcades through SpringboardVR.
