What is JumpJet Rex?
JumpJet Rex is a 2D platforming game about a T-Rex with rocket boots trying to stop an asteroid headed for Earth.
Its presentation uses hand-drawn 16-bit graphics and chiptune music inspired by early-1990s platformers. Players explore levels containing hidden items and secret areas, then replay them to pursue faster times. Ghost data can be downloaded for races against other players, and friends can compete directly. The game includes demanding platforming challenges and retro-style boss encounters. In co-op mode, two players work together through the challenges. Loot collected during play can be used to customize and upgrade the T-Rex’s appearance.
