Our take on VIDEOBALL
The defining mechanic is projecting triangles: charged triangles push balls, while triangles can also stun opponents or cancel other triangles.
What is VIDEOBALL?
In VIDEOBALL, players drive balls toward the opposing goal to collect points.
An analog stick or directional buttons control movement, and any button or trigger fires a triangle. Holding the input charges a larger triangle that exerts more force. Triangles can stun rivals and erase their triangles. Online play includes exhibition and ranked matches for solo players or teams. Local games let participants set the ball count, round duration, and winning score. Arenas, palettes, music, and backgrounds can also be chosen. Its play draws on ideas from several team sports, shooting games viewed from the player’s perspective, and strategy games that unfold in real time.
