Our take on Match Point
The local-only format concentrates the game around shared-room matches, but excludes solo and online play. Requiring one controller per participant also makes the experience dependent on having enough compatible controllers available at the same time.
What is Match Point?
Match Point is a local multiplayer arena game for 2 to 4 players.
Teams compete by moving around altered-gravity stages while tethering, kicking, blocking, and redirecting a ball into the opposing goal. The game includes multiple stages and lets players adjust rules governing the game world. It supports Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch controllers, with one controller required for each participant. Match Point is built for shared local play and does not include online or solo modes.
