Our take on Franchise Wars
Its defining format is the “puzzegy”: turn-based isometric battles where each fast-food-themed unit operates through a distinct gameplay mechanic.
What is Franchise Wars?
Franchise Wars is a turn-based, isometric puzzle-strategy game set during a conflict between rival fast-food factions.
Players control Frog Pop, one of the remaining restaurants, and campaign against Munch Point across 26 levels. Units use distinct mechanics: Fans can push enemies from cliffs, a Taco Truck can ram Fry Cooks, and a T-Shirt Cannon attacks from a distance. The game combines tactical positioning with puzzle-solving, with scenarios built around an AI opponent described as capable of winning easily. Its presentation uses pixel art and music influenced by Game Boy Advance-era games. The campaign was produced in a one-month game-jam project by Jolly Crouton Media and Tiny Warrior Games.
