Our take on Gyrodisc Super League
Rather than using a familiar ball-and-goal sport, the game centers matches on a thrown disc and blends elements of air hockey, tennis and volleyball. Its singles and doubles formats give that hybrid sport a compact local-versus structure.
What is Gyrodisc Super League?
Gyrodisc Super League is an arcade sports game built around a futuristic disc sport combining elements of air hockey, tennis and volleyball.
Matches support up to 4 players locally, with singles and doubles formats; AI opponents are available for solo practice. Players run, dive, catch and throw to defend their goal and target the opponent’s. Lob shots, immediate returns after catching the disc, curved throws and special throws add ways to change a rally. Chaining immediate returns increases the disc’s speed. Players can choose from three characters, each with individual strengths, weaknesses and a signature throw, and play across 5 court setups with different goals, score boosts and obstacles. Further development has been cancelled.
