Our take on ChanceBall
The game adds tactical variety through multiple touch rules, walls, abilities, and team formats, but that focus keeps the experience centered on repeated volleyball rallies rather than a wider sports or story campaign.
What is ChanceBall?
ChanceBall is a 2D volleyball game built around quick reactions, ball positioning, and decision-making.
Matches support 1v1 and 2v2 play online or locally, with mixed local and online play allowing two players on one PC. The game offers two rule sets: ChanceBall permits up to 4 touches per player and 4 per team, while traditional volleyball uses 1 touch per player and 3 per team. Blocks count as touches under ChanceBall rules but not under traditional rules. Walls and a ceiling keep the ball in play. Players can use different hit types, compete in Ability Clash with 8 abilities, practice against AI opponents with different playstyles and difficulty levels, and compete on a global leaderboard.
