Our take on Hex Two
Rather than relying on free movement across a board, the game makes jump order the central puzzle. Its changing tile rules replace a standard single-mechanic structure, while the hexagonal layout limits movement to six directions and keeps each level tightly bounded.
What is Hex Two?
Hex Two is a minimalist puzzle game with 80 main levels, 12 bonus levels, and 7 worlds.
Each board consists of tiles that must be cleared by jumping on them, with the solution depending on the order of movement. Jumps can cover one or two spaces in any of six hexagonal directions. The game includes 19 tile types, including gold tiles that reach any tile within range, catapult tiles that launch up to three spaces, and magenta tiles activated by clearing their neighbors. It adds 8 tile types to those from the original game. A soundtrack, colorblind mode, and dark background mode are also included. The stated playtime is 3 to 5 hours.
