Our take on Heroes of Loot
The likely bounce point is the escalating dungeon: improving a character also makes later play more dangerous. Players who expect leveling to make runs steadily easier may hit that system quickly.
What is Heroes of Loot?
Heroes of Loot combines twin-stick shooting with rogue-like dungeon crawling.
Players fight groups of enemies, use quick reflexes to survive, and improve their weapons by leveling up. Random quests offer extra loot, items, and experience. Dungeons are randomly generated and grow more dangerous as play progresses. The game includes four classes—Elf, Warrior, Wizard, and Valkyrie—along with a fifth class to unlock. Players can search for secret areas, hidden rooms, items, and obstacles, and collect persistent items that add power. Play is available solo or with a co-op partner, with loot, healing potions, weapons, and shields to share or compete over.
