What is Space Grunts?
Space Grunts is a turn-based action RPG set at a moon-base outpost in the year 2476.
A group of intergalactic problem solvers investigates a distress signal and travels through the facility toward its core. Players choose among the Leader, Enforcer, and Tech junky types, which affect items, weapons, and the environment. The base contains aliens, robots, security drones, and other hostile systems. Consumables include weapon enhancers, armor, explosives, destructive toys, and system hacks.
Three standard weapons can be improved for greater firepower and range, while alternate and melee weapons can also be found. Anomalies, underground routes, secret rooms, and mysterious transport items provide different ways to move through the base. Turns can happen without waiting, or players can take time to consider each move.
