Our take on Gunslugs
Its defining structure is one-life action across procedurally generated levels, with death normally ending the current run and requiring a restart.
What is Gunslugs?
Gunslugs is a rapid run-and-gun game built around randomly assembled stages.
Players fight the Black Duck Army through airfields, tropical forests, icy regions, old burial sites, and Hell. Every attempt begins with a single life; dying generally sends the player back to the start, unless an arrangement with a voodoo priest alters the result. The equipment lineup features oddities such as a chicken gun, plus tanks and jetpacks. New heroes can be opened, coins gathered for improvements, bosses confronted, and concealed mini-games found. These side activities include old-school platform challenges, handheld-inspired scenes, illustrated notebook settings, and an encounter involving a traveler from another time.
