Our take on Happy Quest
Happy Quest shifts match-3 away from a standalone puzzle format by placing it within a fantasy quest about helping characters defeat monsters. Upgradeable stats, skills, and a named cast replace the genre’s usual focus on tile matching alone.
What is Happy Quest?
Happy Quest is a casual match-3 game set in a town.
The player takes the role of a kind hunter whose quest is to help several characters defeat monsters. The cast includes Rena, a potion maker; Sana, an elf warrior; Georgia, a blacksmith; Angami, a naga warrior; and Yuna, a succubus. Their descriptions cover personal histories, relationships with the protagonist, and roles in the town or kingdom. Rena works with potions, Sana trains as a warrior, Georgia makes weapons and armor, Angami trains recruits, and Yuna hunts men and cooks for the protagonist. Gameplay includes upgradeable stats and skills, plus more than 50 animated enemies.
