Our take on Robin Hood: Winds of Freedom
The likely sticking point arrives before each level: the lineup is limited to three characters, so players who dislike choosing between abilities for speed or production may find that setup restrictive. Fluffy's help also depends on whether the dog is awake.
What is Robin Hood: Winds of Freedom?
King Richard has been abducted, and Robin Hood and his companions must find him and pay the ransom.
Across 54 levels, players travel through Sherwood Forest and nearby areas, set traps, assist villagers, and gather resources to continue the quest. Before each level, players choose up to three of five characters, each with a distinct ability. Robin Hood increases the group's running speed, while Friar Tuck increases resource production. Some challenges involve Fluffy the dog, who can help only when he is awake. The game includes easy and normal modes, point-and-click controls, and a step-by-step strategy guide. A downloadable soundtrack and desktop wallpapers are also included.
