Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players looking for a story-led campaign or extended narrative progression

- Solo players seeking a broad campaign may find the single-player offering limited to endless waves
Our take on Gun Bombers
The page foregrounds multiplayer competition and several modes, but the solo content is described as an endless wave mode rather than a campaign. The between-round equipment purchases and mining score also make resource gathering part of the match, not just combat.
What is Gun Bombers?
Gun Bombers is a top-down 2D arena shooter with multiplayer rounds for up to 10 players over LAN or the internet.
Maps are randomly generated and destructible. During each round, players mine for gold, treasures, and items while fighting other miners. Between rounds, they can buy and equip weapons, bombs, and items. Points come from activities such as mining and defeating opponents; the highest score after the final round wins. Modes include Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Team Capture The Base, Soccer, and Coop Endless. The game also has single-player endless play against waves of monsters, co-op content, and an in-game map editor for creating multiplayer maps and sharing them through Steam Workshop.
