Instead of using fixed combat classes or a conventional arena layout, the game makes size the main means of attack. Growth comes from rolling over moving shapes, while hazards can reduce mass and food can be left behind for rivals.
What is Aptly Rolling?
A multiplayer arena game where players roll around a randomized map collecting moving cubes, spheres, pyramids, and cylinders to increase their mass.
A player can consume a shape or another player only when larger, while spikes remove mass on contact. Collected food can also be dropped for others. Each lobby includes a leaderboard showing its 10 largest players, adjustable bot and player counts, and text chat without voice chat. Players can join open lobbies, host games, or invite friends through the Steam overlay. The game supports keyboard and mouse controls as well as Xbox controllers, including movement, looking, dropping food, and fast or slow movement.
