Our take on Grid Clash VR
Run-in-place locomotion defines the experience: head movement controls jogging, while sprinting also uses the arms. Physical motion therefore affects both navigation and throwing during matches.
What is Grid Clash VR?
Grid Clash VR is a team multiplayer disc-and-ball game built around physically active, run-in-place movement.
Players move by directing a trackpad or joystick while moving their heads, and sprint by adding arm movement. The main objective is to throw a ball through the opposing team's goal ring, while spawned discs can stop opponents. Matches take place in arenas with obstacles and hiding places. Attack focuses on goal scoring, CTF involves defending one ball while taking the enemy's, and Last Team Standing removes the ball and scores through team elimination.
Bots offer five strength levels and can act as opponents or teammates. Players vote on server settings and communicate through proximity, team, or announcement voice channels. Spatialized 3D sound indicates footsteps and narrowly passing discs.
