What is Starri?
Starri is a webcam-based rhythm game that tracks upper-body movement without requiring VR equipment, headsets, goggles, or controllers.
Players move with the music by cutting incoming notes, catching disappearing ones, avoiding obstacles, and rotating a wheel. Slash mode focuses on anticipating upcoming actions, while Catch mode tests immediate reactions and rhythm. The game includes more than 50 songs, local play with a friend, daily missions, achievements, ratings, leaderboards, avatar and scene customization, and a calorie-tracking system. Setup requires positioning a built-in camera or webcam so it can see the player’s upper body. The experience uses AI and motion tracking to connect physical movement with the music.
