Our take on Gravity Island
Rather than keeping movement on a fixed floor, Gravity Island makes gravity itself the central platforming tool. Walls and ceilings become routes through each stage, while the protagonist’s powers are connected to collecting the scattered Lumies.
What is Gravity Island?
Gravity Island is a 2D platform game about Shiro, a creature collecting magical fireflies called Lumies after they escape from a broken lantern.
Players travel through more than 80 levels across four worlds: Jungle, Fire, Ice, and Dream. Gravity-changing abilities allow Shiro to move across floors, walls, and ceilings, while hazards include biting plants, flames, slippery ground, and deep chasms. The Lumies are also tied to Shiro’s gravity powers, which weaken as the creatures remain scattered. Seraphin provides guidance when the next step is unclear. The game includes achievements, a soundtrack, and levels with distinct styles.
