We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Single-player action fans who want automatic attacks and movement-focused combat
- Players who enjoy choosing pilots, weapons, and perks during repeated runs
- RPG-minded players interested in mech abilities and 64-node perk trees
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking direct aiming or stationary combat may bounce off the automatic-fire system and constant movement requirement
- Players looking for a story-led adventure may find the repeated enemy-wave structure and extraction timer too narrow
- Players who want a finished feature set may not suit the Early Access development period
Our take on Genesis Survivors
The bounce point arrives when movement becomes the main defense: attacks fire automatically, but surviving requires continual repositioning through enemy fire and melee threats. Players who prefer deliberate stopping, manual aiming, or slower encounters may hit that wall before the pilot and perk systems have room to matter.
What is Genesis Survivors?
Eden Survivors is a single-player auto-shooter set in Eden City, where players control mechs and fight alien hordes until an extraction timer reaches zero.
Each pilot is tied to a mech with distinct combat and passive abilities. Movement is central because weapons fire automatically while the mech travels through the city ruins, dodging projectiles and melee attacks. During each run, players select weapons and perks to shape their combat style and use the environment against enemy waves. The initial release includes 4 pilots, 64 perk-tree nodes, 75 skills, 14 enemy types, and 3 bosses. The game shares a digital setting with Eden Genesis and is in Early Access, with further content planned around community feedback.
