Our take on HiveCorp
Its focus on survival runs and automatic shooting leaves less room for story progression or deliberate, aim-based combat. The design instead concentrates attention on movement, experience collection, weapon-card priorities, and long-term equipment and stat development.
What is HiveCorp?
HiveCorp is an action roguelite auto-shooter centered on surviving endless enemy waves.
During each run, movement and dodging are key while weapons and equipment are combined to fight the swarm. Experience pickups support level progression, while resources gathered during a run can later improve permanent stats. Defeating stronger units can produce blueprints for additional equipment options in equipment card rolls. Ranking up opens further loadout choices, including perks, ultimate abilities, and primary weapons. Quests provide additional objectives, and early decisions include prioritizing weapon cards or experience pickups. Runs also involve avoiding enemy attacks while extending survival time.
