Our take on G-Darius HD
Enemy capture defines the experience: foes become weapons, then can be discharged as energy against other enemies or used in beam clashes with bosses.
What is G-Darius HD?
G-Darius HD is a horizontally scrolling shooter featuring five versions of G-Darius: the arcade game, Ver.
2, HD editions of both, and a console version. Players use a Capture Ball to seize many enemies, then release them as energy attacks against other foes. Boss encounters include beam counters, while branching Zones offer route choices during a run. The collection includes adjustable speed, enemy endurance, shield capacity, rapid fire, beginner modes, altered boss patterns, mid-bosses, and timer systems in Ver. 2. G-Darius CS adds a mode for fighting 30 bosses and an option to view the console version’s opening and endings. Exhibition is a PC-exclusive widescreen mode featuring selected boss battles.
