Our take on Massive Effect
Players looking for a forgiving shooter may bounce off when the challenge becomes central to play. Those expecting a broad space adventure may also stop at the compact structure of two modes, enemy encounters, bonuses, and asteroid variations.
What is Massive Effect?
Control an asteroid that enters a developed galaxy and use its dust trail to destroy warships.
A second mode places the player as a planet defender repelling an enemy assault. Destroying opponents grants experience, which unlocks additional asteroid variations. The game includes two modes, several distinct enemy types, collectible bonuses, electronic music, and challenging gameplay. Progression centers on defeating enemies, gaining levels, and opening new asteroid forms.
How Massive Effect plays
- 01Two Game Modes
- One mode centers on asteroid-based attacks, while the other assigns the player to planetary defense.
- 02Asteroid Progression
- Experience gained during play opens additional variations of the asteroid.
- 03Enemy Variety
- Several distinct opponents appear as targets during the space combat.
- 04Collectible Bonuses
- Bonuses can be picked up during gameplay.
Massive Effect compared to similar games
Massive Effect uses an asteroid's dust trail for space combat and adds a planet-defense mode with experience-based asteroid variations. Hentai Vs Furries instead presents third-person shooting with guns, multiple camera angles, quests for skins, emotes, and a separate pleasure mode. SUPER CHICKEN JUMPER combines shooting with running, jumping, and dodging rather than focusing on space combat.
